Thank you for your report. I found a problem which may cause TU to hang in case "wincmd.ini" cannot be found and fixed it. May I ask are you using Total Commander in a portable way, so there aren't any related Windows registration database entries? If so, do you have any suggestions how could I find TC's path when being ran from outside Total Commander? (currently I check for %COMMANDER_PATH% -> HKCU -> HKLM -> systemdrive\totalcmd to see if theres a totalcmd.exe to be found).

Your FileInfo-related problem led me to my discovery that the way 0.8.3 handled the installing of updates is incorrect - it just shouldn't had to show FileInfo as OK in your case, as its double-packed, which TU cannot handle (yet). Please download the latest 0.8.4.1 bugfix release and remove your "TotalUpdater.ini" file / clear its "OverridePlugVer" section to fix the possible issues previous version caused. I'm sorry for the inconveniences.

I'm going to create a whole new GUI for the application soon (actually its already under construction), as its about to evolve to a complete 'Plugin Store' - thus I don't really plan to make changes to its current state atm, sorry.

Thank you for all the updates - 0.8.4.1 is out, containing the latest version of your Russian lng file. Also thanks for the translates onboard, its a _huge_ help for me.
